KIP’S HOME & KITCHEN:   Honoring a Legacy of Home and Family

Born in the 1930s in a war-beaten village outside of Athens, Greece, our grandfather, Kip, was driven by ambition to improve his life and come to America.  He set sail for the USA at 17 with very little to his name and settled in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Kip worked tirelessly to save up money to achieve his goal of opening a restaurant and succeeded in 1959 by establishing Kip's Restaurant, an iconic American-style diner, which he ran for 40 years. Kip's culinary expertise and warm personality made his restaurant a beloved gathering place for the community.

Kip's dedication and hard work paved the way for him to send all of his children to college, a testament to his work ethic and love for his family. Although Kip has passed away, his grandchildren carry on his legacy with Kip's Home and Kitchen, a store that embodies his love of food, home and family.
