Goes on and off quickly. Doesn't stay on if you're in the room a long time

Really should have longer timer to be on. Pain to have to wave by the light to get it on again. Short hold time when on.

Motion activated? Why should I have to dance directly under the light to activate it?

I put 2 of these in the garage (just moved in, lots of trips with boxes etc) to keep from turning lights on/off with hands full, but have spent more time in the dark every time i am in the garage then ever! Don't think I am standing still, I am moving things, breaking down boxes etc... but unless I dance under each light every 30 seconds (and I do mean directly under!) they won't acknowledge my existence in the garage! If you don't get to the second one in time you are now in the dark dancing like a fool waving at a lightbulb that clearly has issues doing its only job!

Only worked a few nights.

I bought this back in February. I finally got around to installing this on my porch and it only worked for a few nights. I am guessing that the sensor was defective as it went to a dull glow and flickered, never turning off. Also, you better educate yourself about Kelvin ratings. This thing when it worked gave out an unearthly alien bluish hue and was incredibly bright. If you are like me and just want a good warm light, stick to bulbs with about 27 Kelvins. I bought a different brand to take it's place, since this failed and was outside the window of return. My experience may be unique. I may have just gotten the lemon, but I certainly did not like the kind of light it put out. Also I didn't try the other bulb. I didn't want to.
